Zavod "Miass" is one of the promising and successfully evolutive enterprise of Russia included in the structure of the Federal Space Agency, ROSCOSMOS.
The enterprise has the required hardware for various technological operations in machinery and tool engineering, production capabilities based on the latest scientific and technical advancements in defense branch. The line of activity Zavod "Miass" is focused on is manufacture of defense products. Zavod "Miass" fabricates body parts and separate assemblies of the Sea Launched Ballistic Missiles (SLBMs), shipborn control equipment for sea-based missile systems, provides their supervision installation, repairs and warranty service of components of the launch and technical facilities.
The rocket and space industry is one of the knowledge-intensive and technically complicated area of the Military-Industrial Complex (MIC) and Zavod "Miass" strives for strengthening its role in the industry. Since manufacture of the defense products is of high priority, Zavod "Miass" plans to participate in implementation of the state-run weapon program for 2011-2020. The final objective of the MIC growth under the program is to equip the Russian Army and other security ministries with new models, types and kinds of armament, military and special purpose hardware in the required amount within the required time limits and to preserve the rank of Russia as one of the world leader in the military-technical cooperation.
The scientific and technical potential of the enterprise coupled with its research activities and experience of the highly skilled workers and experts allow to fulfill adequately tasks of the state defense order. Participation of Zavod "Miass" in federal dedicated programs on refit of the MIC enterprises will fully assist in accomplishing the objective, since the up-to-date military manufacture necessitates Zavod "Miass" to be 
permanently advancing and modernizing.
In parallel to principal directions the production capabilities and defense technologies of Zavod " Miass" make successful development of different civil products feasible. In order to make products competitive and production steadily increasing the professional staff is engaged and due attention is given to innovative renovation and attracting investments.
Engineers are constantly improving technical parameters and pricing of the produced items, the staff seeks new solutions to propose goods that fully meet all customers' needs. At present Zavod "Miass" is an independent entity capable to tightly hold stable market power with glorious labour traditions, the well-deserved past and the firm present. In future the enterprise status will be stronger due to well coordinated work of the whole team, unvaluable experience and knowledge successfully implemented for the benefit of the native plant, which means Russia.
